Pantoum: Allure of Bacon

Hang on, stitching together your page...

I can’t resist the lure of baking.
Braided bread and funnel cakes.

By sip and gulp of tea I’m taking
soothe my brain, relieve my aches.

Drain a draft through funnel kegs!
By sip and gulp of tea I’m taken.

Smoothing pain relief with eggs;
I can’t resist the lure of bacon.

Sometimes you feel inspired.

This poem is a pantoum, which takes the first and third lines of the first stanza and reuses them as the fourth and second lines of the last stanza. In this case, the last word is changed to a near homonym for extra fun!
